About The Artist

Echo Matthey | EchoLynnDesigns

Echo Matthey, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes of Fort Berthold—Arikara, Hidatsa, and Mandan (MHA Nation). Her work is deeply rooted in culture, guided by integrity, and shaped by a positively open-minded spirit that honors tradition while embracing contemporary expression.

As the founder and artist behind EchoLynnDesigns, she blends ancestral beadwork techniques with modern luxury design, creating wearable and collectible art that carries meaning, strength, and story. Each piece reflects balance—between heritage and evolution, resilience and beauty.

As a dedicated boxing enthusiast, she has also beaded for the inductees of the West Coast Boxing Hall of Fame, (Rick Farris Event) where she also proudly served as a Director for the events. Some of the inductees she has had the privalege to bead for are James Toney, Larry Merchant, Ryan ONeal, Manny Pacquiao, Berry Gordy, George Foreman, and celebrities and world champions outside the event like Julio Caesar Chavez, both Sr and Jr, Mike Tyson, Layla McCarter, Kali Reis, Tony Weeks and many more. Recognized as a VIP for her continued support and commitment to the sport, she has also been a faithful sponsor of Beautiful Brawlers and Boxing Meets Beauty-supporting women in boxing.

In 2017, Actor Ryan O’Neal invited Echo to bead items for the celebrity gift bags at the Farrah Fawcett Cancer Foundation “Tex-Mex Fiesta” event in Los Angeles, California, further highlighting her work on a national platform rooted in purpose and philanthropy.

Through EchoLynnDesigns, Echo Matthey creates with intention—honoring culture, uplifting community, and crafting art that resonates far beyond its form.

“At EchoLynnDesigns, my mission is simple: to help people feel beautiful in their skin. Whether you’re Native or non-Native, I want you to wear these pieces and feel seen, confident, and connected—to yourself and to something greater.

Every creation is made with heart, intention, and deep respect for the cultural traditions that guide me. Thank you for supporting authentic Native-made art.”
